ECOSYSTEM JUMPSTARTS

From open role to working plan, in weeks.

Most companies waste 2-4 quarters getting an ecosystem strategy off the ground. We compress that into two to four weeks, so you know exactly which platform to join, or if you’re building one, what to build and how to run it.

Ecosystem Jumpstarts

Move fast with full confidence. Choose Sprint to evaluate your readiness and validate your next steps,
or Build to arm your team with a complete, execution-ready ecosystem strategy.

Sprint

You already have a team, program, a leader, or a plan.
We tell you what's working and what to do next.
And if you're ready to build, then this is also the right first step for you.
What's included
  • A 90-minute kickoff with your leadership team
  • Five interviews with your team, completed in week one
  • An external read of your product, your platform relationships and your competitors
  • A clear view of where you stand with every platform you're part of
  • An honest read on whether your product could support a program of its own
  • A read on how your current partner program stacks up against what the opportunity actually needs
  • A clear look at whether your team is set up to execute - reporting lines, KPIs, and where the handoffs break down.
What you walk away with
  • A clear answer: what's worth joining, what's worth building, and in what order with 2-3 scenarios and resource implications

  • A recommendation for each: Accelerate / Reposition / Triage / Monitor

  • A written report, a leadership working session, and a 30-day check-in.

*Excludes: Program architecture, participant map with named targets, best-practice benchmarking, connected-principals deep read, role charter and RACI, KPI instrumentation, and the playbook.

Build

You've decided or just started to build, or just hired someone to get things moving. We hand your new leader the ecosystem strategy to pick up and run from day one with a 6-month playbook.
Everything in the Sprint, plus
  • Ecosystem strategy: mode selection per platform, the interdependency model, and the published benefits, requirements and expected outcomes
  • Program architecture: tiers, requirements, benefits, incentives, and an enablement and certification skeleton
  • A participant map by type (SI, VAR, OEM, ISV, frontier LLM, marketplace), with named targets and a recruitment sequence
  • Your GTM plan for the ecosystem: marketplace, co-sell and partner economics, not just sales
  • Organisational design: role charter, reporting-line recommendation, and how it connects to the rest of your team.
What you walk away with
  • A complete program a new leader can pick up and run from day one, with a six-month playbook already sequenced and owner-assigned
  • A board-ready executive summary, and clear economics: what you pay, what you charge
  • A discovery readout at week two, a final handoff workshop at week four, plus 30- and 60-day check-ins.

We’ve built ecosystem programs at Microsoft and Red Hat, and worked with platforms across the industry.
With Align Growth Global, you work with the team behind that work.

Frequently asked questions

Questions we hear most.

We already have someone starting in this role, does this still apply?
Yes, and it's often the highest-value moment. A new leader with no baseline and a ninety-day clock is exactly who the Build is built for: a playbook they can pick up on day one instead of spending their first quarter discovering what you already know.
We're still interviewing candidates, should we wait until someone's hired?
No, the earlier the better. A Sprint run before the hire lands gives whoever you bring on a real starting point and it can change what the role should even look like before the offer goes out.
Does this replace the hire, or work alongside it?
Alongside. This isn't a substitute for the role, it's the assessment and direction that role would otherwise spend two quarters building from scratch.
Our search has been open a while and isn't converting, is that relevant?
Very. An aging search usually means the budget's allocated and unspent while pressure builds on whoever's running it, that's often the moment an outside, fixed-scope answer is most welcome.
How fast can this actually move?
A Sprint kicks off on a Monday and delivers findings two weeks later. When a search for a new hire is already dragging, that speed is often crucial to fast-track execution once they’re onboard.
